At Bibby Financial Services we understand the challenges businesses face, especially during these difficult economic times.

That's why we've created Livebusiness, a new initiative designed to help the UK's four million small and medium sized firms thrive against economic uncertainty by bringing the very issues associated with running your own business to life as well as bringing you valuable advice and news.

As part of Livebusiness we created the ‘Growth Challenge', bringing to life the experiences of three budding entrepreneurs.

You can track the trials and tribulations of our three business owners on their personal blogs and video diaries as they experience the highs and lows of running and growing their own business. They will each compete to win access to an exclusive Livebusiness mentor team, who will help them take their business to the next level. The entrepreneur who has the most votes at the end of March 2009 will win the first Livebusiness challenge.

So far the competition is very tight, but at the halfway stage Sam managed to secure just enough votes to edge himself in front and so won an exclusive 'audience with' mentor session with Rachel Elnaugh.
